Winter commencement spotlight: ‘A true Tar Heel’

More than a decade ago, Barbara Jones left Carolina after her sophomore year and began a series of service jobs that included the Marine Corps, law enforcement and Emergency Medical Services. This weekend, Jones will receive her bachelor’s degree in history from the College of Arts and Sciences, returning “home to Carolina,” she said, to finish what she started.

William Blake Archive launches redesigned web site

The William Blake Archive has launched a redesigned web site, making it easier than ever for educators and scholars to access and study Blake’s works. The web site is a hypermedia archive of Blake’s poetry and art that is sponsored by the Library of Congress and supported by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Rochester.
