Collaboration culminates in Lebanese migration exhibit at N.C. Museum of History

UNC’s Digital Innovation Lab (DIL) began working with the Khayrallah Program for Lebanese-American Studies at North Carolina State University two years ago to map the migration and settlement of hundreds of families in North Carolina cities a century ago from what is now Lebanon, but was then a part of the Ottoman Empire.

UNC students living King’s legacy receive scholarship

Three students in the College of Arts and Sciences have been chosen to receive the Martin Luther King Jr. UNC Student Scholarship, an award given annually to students who not only excel academically, but who embody King’s commitment to civil and human rights in their contributions to the community.
