Students present short plays at ‘Long Story Shorts’ festival Oct. 23-24

WSS-2015-draft04The Writing for the Screen and Stage Program in the College of Arts and Sciences will host the fifth annual “Long Story Shorts” festival Oct. 23-24 at 8 p.m.

The event is the annual celebration of short plays written by members of the graduating class. Playwrights include Robert Baker, William Booth, Sarah He, Charlie Kelsey, Schyler Martin, Mackenzie Minnick, Jessica Zambrano and Rachel Schmitt.

The plays will be performed in the Kenan Theatre in the Center for Dramatic Art on Country Club Road. Admission is free.

The Writing for the Screen and Stage Program is a minor offered through the department of communication.
