A UNC team led by geologist Tamlin Pavelsky has received $1.5 million from NASA’s Earth Science Division to expand a pilot citizen science program to measure lake water storage from North Carolina to the globe. A project to replace the roof of the Hanes Art Center will begin May 14, 2018, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 12, 2018.
