The production is directed by Tracy Bersley.

Featuring the Grammy-nominated score by Martin and Brickell, Broadway’s Bright Star tells a sweeping tale of love and redemption set against the rich backdrop of the American South in the 1920s and ’40s. Inspired by a real event, set in many familiar locations in North Carolina. Propelled by an ensemble of onstage musicians and dancers, the story unfolds as a rich tapestry of deep emotion, beautiful melodies and powerfully moving performances. It’s a theatrical experience as refreshingly genuine as it is daringly hopeful.

“It takes only one production such as “Bright Star” to understand his [Martin] and Brickell’s ability to enthrall an audience with an engrossing story and wonderful songs that aid in telling their heartfelt and fun story”
