Seventy-three talented and ambitious students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have been honored with the University\u2019s most prestigious awards for academic achievement and leadership, the Chancellor\u2019s Award.<\/p>\n
Chancellor Carol L. Folt presided over the annual Chancellor\u2019s Awards ceremony on April 20, where Executive Vice Provost Ron Strauss, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Winston Crisp and 2015-16 student body president Houston Summers also presented academic, student leadership activities and student-selected undergraduate teaching and staff awards.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt Carolina we expect our students to innovate, create, compete and excel,\u201d said Folt. \u201cThrough extraordinary academic achievement, public service and leadership, our Chancellor\u2019s Awards recipients have exceeded these expectations and set a standard of excellence for future generations.\u201d<\/p>\n
