CANCELLED Battaglini next featured speaker at Tar Heel Tailgate Talks

Claudio Battaglini, a former soccer star and international-level coach turned award-winning Carolina professor, will serve as feature speaker for the Sept. 26 Tar Heel Tailgate Talk. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., “Dr. B” will share how the power of exercise can make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.

As director of the Exercise Oncology Research Laboratory (EORL) and the Get REAL & HEEL Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Program, Dr. Battaglini researches the effects of exercise training on the mitigation of treatment-related side effects and quality of life in cancer patients.
