High school students from across North America come to UNC-Chapel Hill in third annual competition

The third annual National High School Ethics Bowl will bring 22 teams from across North America to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill April 10-11. Hosted by The Parr Center for Ethics in UNC-Chapel Hill’s College of Arts and Sciences, students will exercise their philosophical, analytical thinking and ethical muscles as they address topical issues.

Graduate students, faculty to create high-quality replicas of iconic sci-fi costumes and props

The master of fine arts program in costume production at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is going sci-fi. Students and faculty from UNC-Chapel Hill’s graduate costume production program will create high-quality replicas of iconic costumes from classic science fiction cinema for use in future displays at the new Museum of Science Fiction in Washington, DC.
