In recent years, nontraditional teaching in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education has garnered a great deal of attention, while equivalent teaching methods in the arts and humanities have received far less attention. What does innovative teaching in the arts and humanities look like, and what does it look like at UNC?
Join Kelly Hogan, senior STEM lecturer and director of Instructional Innovation at the College of Arts and Sciences, as she leads a faculty panel discussion on March 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hyde Hall Incubator.
The panelists for “Innovative Teaching in the Arts and Humanities” are Cary Levine, associate professor of art; Heidi Kim, assistant professor of English and comparative literature; Michelle Robinson, assistant professor of American studies; and Brett Whalen, associate professor of history.
