Hardaway exhibit finds a permanent home in Badin

Historic artifacts from one of North America’s oldest archaeological sites are returning home to Badin, N.C The artifacts are part of “Ancient Carolinians,” an exhibit developed by archaeologists in UNC’s College of Arts and Sciences that will be permanently located in Badin.

Four young faculty honored with Hettleman awards

Four highly promising faculty members at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have been awarded the Phillip and Ruth Hettleman Prizes for Artistic and Scholarly Achievement by Young Faculty, an honor that recognizes the achievements of outstanding junior tenure-track faculty or recently tenured faculty. Two of the faculty members are in the College of Arts and Sciences.
